Taking a leaf out of Topshop and Urban Outfitters' book, highstreet heavyweight River Island are launcing their first 20% off student shop-in event:
I have to confess that I'm not particularly a fan of River Island clothing, but I DO love their shoes - really impressed with the fashion-forward designer copies (affordable too) and the gargantuan range of boots they produced over the winter season was nothing short of astounding!
I'm moving to Edinburgh on Monday to stay for a couple of weeks while doing some work experience with a magazine (yay!) and I will DEFO be popping in to the Princes St store to see if I can blag these badboy Chelsea boots:

Ohh this sounds good, I've been quite impressed by river island recently, I think they've been getting away from their stereotype of having neon and glitter logos etc over everything! Good luck with the work experience in edinburgh, sounds great! xx
OOOH YES! I've had my eye on a pair of leopard print River Island heels for a couple of weeks, will definitely need to get myself down to Princes Street too!

Ooh I got an email like this recently too, definitely going to go after work as I actually really love some of their stuff at the moment. Only a few weeks left of being a student too so got to make the most of it <3 Yay for Edins and work experience!! x
